Use the Internet to find a recipe for homemade biscuits. Locate one that uses baking soda or buttermilk. Bold any ingredients that are acids and underline any ingredients that are bases. Include the recipe in your response and then, below the recipe, come up with a scientific explanation as to how those acid and base ingredients work to cause the biscuits to be light and fluffy.

Think about the products of the reaction between acids and bases. What happens to these products at high heat?
